Our founder, a retired police officer, wanted to pay a personal tribute to officers who die in the line of duty. She began making personalized mourning bands bearing the badge or ID number of the fallen officer, and thus the company HONORBANDS was created.

HonorBands is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and the service is donated freely to the department of the fallen officers. We operate using volunteers who work around the clock to ensure departments have our customized bands to honor their fallen.
