The Beginning

In 2000, Mo Latimer created HonorBands from a desire to honor those that have and still do serve in the US Armed Forces.

Latimer’s hope for HonorBands was to connect generations - grandparents sharing their experiences with their grandchildren, young service people being remembered and honored by their friends and families – as a way to remember specifically 60^th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Since then, HonorBands have grown to symbolize many of the combat situations that our service men & women have fought for the rest of us. 

Today’s call for service – defined by that service which the individual feels called – includes many of today’s men & women choosing to serve in the armed forces. HonorBands is simple way for American’s to show our gratitude for those that sacrifice so much each day. Our part is serving them by saying “Thank You” for all they do.

Latimer has designed and manufactured jewelry for resort stores and boutiques.  Her lines have sold in over 50 stores nationally and internationally.
